The TendrBox idea

Less time managing. More time caring.

01

More time for what matters

Visits should be about time together rather than checking supplies or carrying bags of toiletries.

02

Delivered with care

Future TendrBox deliveries will be clearly labelled and sent to the care setting or address selected by the family.

03

Essentials ready when needed

A thoughtfully prepared box containing the everyday products selected for your loved one.

A familiar responsibility

The small responsibility that never really goes away

When someone you love moves into care, everyday essentials can become another responsibility to manage.

Shampoo runs out. Toothpaste needs replacing. A preferred moisturiser is forgotten. Sometimes the first reminder is a phone call from the care home.

TendrBox is being created to make that routine easier, more predictable and less stressful for families.

Last-minute calls

A product has run out and needs replacing sooner than expected.

Repeated journeys

Shopping, packing and travelling with supplies takes time and planning.

Uncertainty

It is not always clear what is needed, or when it will need replacing.

More than a delivery

Spend more time together.

The best visits are about conversations, laughter and shared moments rather than checking cupboards or replacing toiletries.

TendrBox is being designed so one small responsibility can quietly take care of itself, giving families more freedom to focus on what matters most.

Less shopping

No more emergency trips for forgotten essentials.

Less worrying

Know everyday products have already been planned.

More time together

Spend visits making memories instead of managing supplies.

A note from TendrBox

Why we are building TendrBox

Small items. One persistent responsibility.

TendrBox was created after recognising a simple but persistent responsibility faced by families with loved ones living in care: remembering, purchasing and transporting the everyday products they need.

These items may be small, but managing them repeatedly can add another layer of worry to an already emotional situation.

“We believe family visits should be about spending time together rather than checking shampoo bottles or carrying bags of toiletries.”

That is the reason we are building TendrBox.

Questions and answers

Questions families ask

TendrBox is still being shaped. These answers reflect the planned service today.

What is TendrBox?

TendrBox is a planned subscription service for personalised everyday toiletries, personal-care products and comfort essentials for people living in care settings.

Who is TendrBox for?

It is being designed for adult children, spouses, relatives, friends and advocates who help manage everyday essentials for someone in a care home, nursing home, supported living or a similar setting.

Is TendrBox already available?

No. TendrBox is currently being validated and developed. The Founding Family waitlist will help shape the service before launch.

Can the first box be sent to my home?

That is the plan. Families will be able to choose an optional first-box home trial so they can inspect the contents before switching future deliveries to a care setting.

Can future boxes go directly to a care home?

The planned service will support direct care-setting delivery. Families will need to provide accurate recipient and delivery details, and the final delivery process is still being developed.

What happens if my loved one goes into hospital?

The planned controls will let families pause or skip an upcoming box, change its address or restart deliveries when circumstances return to normal.

Can I pause, skip or cancel?

Yes, that flexibility is central to the planned service. Families should be able to pause, skip, update or cancel without a long-term contract.

How will products be selected?

Families will provide preferences such as familiar products, sensitivities, grooming needs and items to avoid. Final options and availability are still being developed.

Will TendrBox supply medication?

No. TendrBox is intended for everyday retail essentials, not prescribed medicines. It will not make clinical decisions.

How much will TendrBox cost?

Pricing is being tested. Feedback from the Founding Family waitlist will help determine practical and suitable plan options.
